Question: What is a "second chance checking account?

I am listed on Chexsystems and someone told me to look up second chance checking. Who issues them?

Second chance checking account basically means that you are given a 'second chance' to open a checking/ savings/ bank account. most banks have policies of not allowing you to open an account with them once you are listed in chexsystems (which could be 5 years long). true, there are those who issue this even if you have bad or no credit...
