Question: Second chance checking account for people with bad credit?

I need to know are their any banks who will give a person a second chance checking account with bad credit, What can a person do who is in the chex system . How can you get out of it and get your second chance checking account a personel checking account and a buisness checking account.

Banks will give you a checking account with bad credit .. they may not give you a an ATM card or they will restrict it, but you can still get a checking account.

Try a credit union instead, you might have to make a serious deposit to show good faith.

Most banks will give you a checking account with bad credit. They key is that you didn't bounce a lot of checks in the bad credit process. If you bounced a lot of checks, you might not want a checking account without somebody to help you manage it. Use online billing to pay bills automatically to avoid any problems with tracking checks. If you have a hard time tracking checks, use an online portal so you can see what you have. Even if you get a checking account, avoid the things that give you troubles. You're in luck! There's a new program "Get Checking " through which you can attend a class that explains a lot of the issues with checking accounts. Once you've completed the class you will receive a certificate that you can take to participating financial institutions and open an account! (getchecking.org)
